Experience a Fresh Take on Traditional Ukrainian Canadian Food!
The Friends Society is proud to offer a broad range of food services at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village throughout the year that feature a fresh take on traditional Ukrainian Canadian food! During the summer months the Kalyna Kitchen Concession and the Village Sweets & Treats operate from Victoria Day to Labour Day, seven days a week from 11 am to 4 pm to the end of June and from 10 am to 5 pm in July and August. Our main features this year is our own smoked pork products (kovbasa, smoked pork, bacon), in house made sauerkraut, special condiments and delicious house made potatoe cakes (derunu), khrystky, apple cake and paska toast (brunch only on weekends from mid July)!
We also offer a special lunch for seniors and mobility impaired tours on Wednesdays during July and Tuesdays during August. For special events – the Friends runs a Food Court and the Summer Kitchen, which is located next to the main stage. During the year we offer catering services to groups renting the Red Barn and lunches for school groups. Contact us if you would like to discuss your trip to the Village and arrange for food services. 780-662-3855. ext 1163, email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org
